SINGAPORE (ICIS)–On 27 February, OQ Chemicals‘ oxo-alcohols unit in Oberhausen, Germany, went offline following technical issues at a raw materials supplier, further tightening supply in Europe.
Asia is also likely to see tight supply as the market moves into the second quarter, as Japan embarks on its turnaround season.
